Desktop app¶

Empi has a native macOS desktop app. It opens the same Empi workspace you use in a browser, so your account, calendars, tasks and settings stay in sync.

Menu-bar agenda¶

Keep Empi available from the menu bar. It shows the current and next parts of your day, including meetings, focus time and commute blocks. From a relevant item you can open the task, join or copy a meeting link, complete focus time, or reschedule it.

Notifications and appearance¶

Open Preferences from the Empi app menu, the menu bar, or the Empi mark in the desktop app to choose the reminder and menu-bar behaviour you want. These preferences belong to that Mac. They do not change the shared settings of your Empi workspace.

Empi can show system notifications for calendar events, task focus time and commute departures. A test notification is available in Preferences after you enable a channel.
